| In
the Swamps and the Hills of the Allgäu
You will see the beautiful Allgäu with its
hills, cows, chapels and crosses, with the snowy mountains of the Alps
and we hike throug a land, furrowed by water and ice.  We
begin our hike with a rich meal and a beertest at the Meckatzer
Löwenbrauerei. After that we will visit the brewery and we will see
how they make the Löwenbräu.
 Soon
after we have left the brewery our way will ascend and we reach a plain. On that
plain we will  walk
for a while and then we will climb down to Lindenberg.
We walk on and come to Weiler and thePostbrauerei.
There we will have our obligatory beer test and then we hike on to Simmerberg
where we reach the Aktienbrauerei. There we will
have our supper and the next beer test. When we have tested the beer enough we
will have a good night after a hike of 12 km.
 On
the next day we will hike to Isny. We will have an entertaining way over hills,
through valleys and wood along meadows with cattle, small villages and swamps.
In a small village in a green valley we will have our lunch and then we walk on
through the Allgäu to Isny.
In Isny we won't go to the brewery, we will go to a very special swabian inn,
the Haldenhof. There we will have a genuine swabian
meal, the beers of the Brauerei Stolz and music
and great fun! On this day our hike had 22 km.
On the third day, after a
good breakfast, we will march for a while through the swamps and then overhills
to Eglofs (a part of Argenbühl)
where we will have lunch in an ethnic inn. After that we will  climb
down into the valley of the Argen and up on the
other side of the valley passing an old castle and reach a plain on which we will
walk through wood an meadows back to Meckatz
where we can enjoy again the specialities of the Löwenbrauerei-Inn
after a hike of 20 km. Preparation:
